During COVID, I had a bit of extra time on my hands and wanted to create something that was accessible and fun for everyone to play.
One morning, I was playing a new game. I thought about that game all day, and that night, I thought about how much fun it would be for me to create my own game. And so, I did. Although I can't physically run around the block or play tennis anymore, my symptoms have never limited my ability to create, and I am so very thankful for that.
It took a little more than a year to put this new online game together. I played it with my sister and brother-in-law nightly for months. If I missed a night, they called to ask, “Did you forget about us?” I also play with my grandchildren who gave me pointers on how to make the game better. It was for sure a family affair, and we all love playing this game.
The game is called Puzzle Yuzzle, and it went live in January 2023. There are five questions to answer – the first letter of each correct answer must then be put together to be unscrambled, creating the word of the day. There is a new game every day that you can play by yourself or in a group. Give it a try!
