CMD in China

Dr. Carsten Bonnemann and Dr. Anne Rutkowski, Cure CMD Chairman, traveled to Beijing, China to evaluate 17 families with CMD together with the staff from Peking University First Hospital. The clinic and conference was led by pediatric neurologist, Dr. Hui Xiong.  It was a wonderful opportunity to meet families with CMD in China and recognize and identify global issues in CMD diagnosis and care. The 3 day visit included a series of lectures on CMD diagnosis, medical management and therapeutics development. We look forward to continued collaboration and developing further outreach.  A special thanks to the CMD families, the staff and clinicians at Peking University First Hospital and Drs. Xiong, Zheng, Yuan and Wu.
